Meet the Golf Coach

Kendall Dunn
Head Coach

Kendall Dunn is a native of Greensboro North Carolina. He fell in love with golf at a young age. Since picking up a club at

the age of 3, he has had a love and passion for golf. Kendall graduated from Vandalia Christian School in 2012 and received a scholarship to play golf at UNC Pembroke. During his freshman year, he played all but two tournaments with a 75.7 scoring average. After redshirting his sophomore year, he transferred to Guilford College.

At Guilford College, Kendall was voted by his teammates captain in his junior and senior year and was apart of 2 conference championship teams. In his senior year, he posted his best season and a few of his best rounds as a collegiate golfer. One of his best finishes came at the NCAA preview where he came in 3rd with rounds of 71-80-67. He finished that season with a 74.9 scoring average and claimed second team All-Conference. After graduating from college, Kendall knew he wanted to coach golf. In the spring of 2017, Kendall became the middle school Head Golf Coach at Greensboro Day School where he led the team to a 8-2 record.

Coach Dunn’s dream is to coach collegiate golf and help build a solid and productive golf program. Now with this opportunity he wants to build this new golf program at DCCC into a house hold name in the college golf community and assist in producing teams that have great academics as well as a team that will compete with any team in the country.
