The Learning Commons Testing Center located on the first floor of the Grady Edward Love Building on the main Davidson County Community College campus. The Testing Center provides walk-in (if there is room in the Testing Center) and appointment based Placement/Assessment and WorkKeys testing for DCCC and non-DCCC students. Accommodation Testing for DCCC Students
Students wanting consideration for accommodation testing should contact the Coordinator, Disability Services. Students cannot test with accommodations unless an approved accommodation plan from the Coordinator, Disability Services is on file in the Testing Center.
Reader and Scribe requests require one week’s notice. Students will need to provide three potential appointment times to the Learning Commons Welcome Desk either in-person or by calling 336-249-8186, ext. 6787. Once a reader/scribe is arranged, a Learning Commons staff member will contact the student to confirm the testing time. Please note, accommodation testing for placement and WorkKeys will not be allowed during curriculum midterms and finals due to higher volume of curriculum accommodation testers.
WorkKeys testing for the Career Readiness Certificate is free for students enrolled in College and Career Readiness classes at DCCC. More Information About Classes
Those who are not enrolled in a College and Career Readiness class at DCCC will need to pay prior to testing in the DCCC Business Office. The Business Office is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and is located on the 2nd floor of the Brooks Student Center on the main Davidson campus. Please see below for cost per tests as of 1/1/17:

Testers need to bring their receipt from the DCCC Business Office and a current photo ID to the Learning Commons Welcome Desk on the first floor of the Grady Edward Love Building on the Davidson Campus. Important policies and acceptable ID requirements prior to testing.
If a tester is referred to the Testing Center for WorkKeys testing through Mohawk/Unilin then the tester will not have to pay for the test. Testers are asked to review testing policies and acceptable forms of ID by reviewing the information above.
