Hart Joins DCCC Computer Technology Faculty
Oct. 24, 2013 – Davidson County Community College recently welcomed John Hart as instructor of Computer Technology in the School of Business, Engineering and Technical Studies.
Hart is responsible for teaching students to utilize emerging Web technologies, with emphasis on creating Web pages and mobile apps.
“I want to teach students the basic building blocks of Web technology and then step back and watch their creativity explode,” Hart says. “I want to witness their professional development into Web designers and software developers. They inspire me as much as I hopefully inspire them.”
Hart received an Associate in Science from DCCC, a Bachelor of Science in meteorology and computer science from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in software engineering from East Carolina University. He was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa honor society at DCCC and Phi Kappa Phi honor society at ECU. Professionally, Hart is a recipient of the President’s Award with Nortel Networks where he was previously employed.
