DCCC Zoo and Aquarium Science Club to Host Haunted Trail

Oct. 21, 2014 – “What Are You Afraid Of?” is the theme for a haunted trail to be hosted Oct. 24-25 by the Zoo and Aquarium Science Club at Davidson County Community College. The event will take place on the nature trail on DCC Road behind the college’s Transportation Technology Building.

Trail tours will begin at 7 p.m. each night. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 13 and under. Friday night’s trail tours will be accompanied by a “trunk or treat” event from 7 to 8 p.m.

Student guides will lead the tours, so guests will not be on the trail alone. Guests will be required to sign a liability waiver and wear closed-toe shoes. Hot chocolate ands'mores will be sold as well.

Funds raised will be donated to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham.

Editor’s note: The haunted trail is open to the public. Please include on event calendars.
