DCCC Welcomes Owens as Cashier Services Specialist in the Business Office
May 3, 2013 – The Business Office at Davidson County Community College recently hired Kristin Owens as cashier services specialist.
In her position, Owens is responsible for assisting students in the registration process for continuing education courses and serving as the first point of contact for students in the Brooks Student Center.
As a recent college graduate, Owens says she knows well what students are experiencing.
“I understand the needs and frustrations of our students, and I know exactly what students are going through. I’m excited to be engaged with them and assist them and guide them in any way I can to make the registration process less stressful and confusing.”
Owens received a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
