DCCC Hires King as Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Sept. 26, 2012 – Amanda King has been hired as marketing and communications coordinator for Davidson County Community College.

In her new position, King will assist in coordinating the external and internal marketing processes, create a substantial social media presence, and will sustain a positive relationship with the campus as a representative of the marketing department.

“A marketing career in a higher education environment has always been appealing to me,” says King. “Now that I am here, I look forward to learning from my established co-workers and growing as a young professional.”

King earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational and public communications and a minor in sociology from Appalachian State University.
