DCCC Hires Branson as Instructor of English

Jan. 31, 2013 – Davidson County Community College recently welcomed Nathan Branson as instructor of English in the School of Arts, Sciences and Education.

Branson is responsible for teaching expository, technical and argumentative writing, and notes he looks forward to challenging students to read and write creatively.

“This position at DCCC will give me the opportunity to help students have the confidence to write clearly about any subject and teach them the basics of writing college level essays,” says Branson.

Branson earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature with a minor in creative and technical writing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and a Master of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
