Atrium Windows and Doors, DCCC Partner to Offer Leadership Training for Employees

Jan 15, 2015 – Atrium Windows and Doors, in partnership with Davidson County Community College’s Business and Industry Training Program, kicked off 2015 with a 16-week training series, “Atrium Leadership – Learning & Leading: The Path to World Class!” at its Welcome facility. The training series, developed for Atrium’s managers, supervisors, team leads, operators and customer service representatives, will run through March.

The Atrium series course topics include supervisory-leadership sessions on communicating effectively, managing change and performance management, provided by Taylor Training & Development, while APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) will provide manufacturing management, total quality management and process improvements instruction. Additionally, the Franklin Covey core principles of strategy, execution, leadership, time and project management will be offered by the North Carolina Community College System. DCCC’s full-time faculty, Sylvia Walters, will deliver customer service training.
