Anu Williams Named to Associate Dean Position at DCCC
March 3, 2015 – Anu Williams has been named an associate dean for the School of General Studies and Academic Support at Davidson County Community College.
Williams oversees the humanities and social/behavioral science curriculum programs, as well as the operation of the college’s Child Development Center.
“I want to provide all the support necessary to ensure student success,” Williams says. “I welcome every challenge in the learning process; as educators we have to keep evolving to meet these challenges to enhance student learning and growth in and outside the classroom.”
Williams holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communications and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Training. She has worked for five years in the North Carolina Community College System as faculty, program coordinator and department chair.
