Learning Commons Testing
The Learning Commons Testing Center offers a variety of testing for current and incoming students as well as the community at large. If you require placement testing, curriculum testing or online testing for distance learners, you’ve come to the right place.
Testing & Scheduling
To schedule your testing date, please click on the appropriate link below. Some tests and testing sites require additional steps. Additional testing details
WorkKeys – Pay fees for this test to the business office prior to your testing date. Present the receipt of payment to the Learning Commons prior to testing.
Certiport (MOS) – Set up an account through Certiport.com, prior to testing. Once you have registered, contact the Learning Commons to schedule your test date. A 24-hour advanced scheduling is required.
HCI – This test is a Healthcare Interpreting assessment. Contact the Learning Commons to schedule your test date.
NIMS – This test is for DCCC students who require certification for Advanced Manufacturing. Set up an account through the NIMS portal, prior to testing. Once you have registered, contact the Learning Commons to schedule your test date.
The following tests are scheduled online directly with the testing companies
High School Equivalency - High School Equivalency exams are available to everyone. Testers schedule through the individual test companies websites: GED - MyGED.com, HiSET - http://hiset.ets.org/test_takers/,
TASC - http://www.tasctest.com/test-takers.html
TEAS – The Test of Essential Academic Skills is intended for DCCC applicants only and is required for admission to DCCC’s Nursing program. Go through Admissions before scheduling this test.
NACE – The Nursing Acceleration Challenge Exam is intended for DCCC applicants only and is required for admission to DCCC’s Nursing program. Go through Admissions before scheduling this test.
