2014-2015 Foundation Scholarship Application
We are still accepting applications for the 2015 Spring Semester!
The DCCC Foundation is reviewing scholarship applications for the 2014-2015 academic year. These scholarships are provided through the generosity of private donors or organizations in our community who support our students and programs. Some scholarship donors stipulate that preference be given to students meeting certain criteria, so please complete all fields of the application so that we can explore all avenues of scholarship funding for you.
For most of our scholarships, preference is given to students enrolled at DCCC full-time (12 hours or more) with at least 12 semester hours already completed. GPA and academic requirements vary by scholarship.
You must have completed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for 2014-2015. If you have not completed the FAFSA at the time this application is reviewed, you will be dropped from scholarship consideration.
As part of the requirements for this application, you will need to write an essay of no more than 350 words that addresses your educational and career goals and how DCCC can assist you in pursuing your goals. Please include any relevant activities, awards, and honors you have received in recent years. You may also describe any significant obstacles you have overcome in your pursuit of an education. You will be asked to upload this essay in .pdf or .doc format below.
