Please join us at Davidson County Community College on Friday, September 20 for a workshop on how to globalize YOUR course. The morning will include presentations from experts on curriculum globalization and the afternoon will consist of a hands on work session where experienced facilitators will help you develop YOUR class. Bring a laptop, some ideas and the desire to give your students a global perspective!
The registration fee is $50 for non-DCCC faculty and $25 for DCCC faculty. If you are an adjunct faculty at DCCC, please state that on the registration form. The deadline to register is Friday, August 30th. Lunch will be provided for all registrants.

Joseph Jordan is the Director of the Sonja H. Stone Center for Black Culture and History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Adjunct Associate Professor, African/African American and Diaspora Studies. His work focuses on social justice movements in the diaspora, and the cultural politics of race, identity and artistic production in the diaspora, explored through representations in visual and other creative arts.
