EMT - Hybrid/Online
This course is designed to educate students to recognize a variety of medical emergencies and provide efficient and prompt emergency care. Emphasis is placed on evaluating diagnostic signs and determining the extent of injury or illness.
Students do course work online and meet on campus Saturday's from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. See Notes Section for on campus dates.
A) 17 years of age on or before the official end date of the course;
B) High school diploma or high school equivalent; and proof of basic reading comprehension skills at a minimum of the eleventh grade level.

Students must attend the first day of class for New EMS Student Orientation.
Students must purchase the Navigate 2 Premier Access Code for Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured, Eleventh Edition prior to the first day of the course.
