Research for the EMS Provider (Online) 7/1-15/20
This course provides the fundamental knowledge necessary to understand and perform basic research as it relates to emergency care. The following topics will be covered:
- Basic definitions and research principles.
- Research examples in modern emergency medicine.
- Primary vs. Secondary resources.
- Evidence-Based Medicine.
- Basic data interpretation.
- Basics of citations.
This training is provided by 911 eLearning Solutions. Students will receive an email from 911 eLearning on the first day of class with directions for logging into the online classroom. Any students registering after the start date should expect to receive the instruction email within 2 business days
