Davidson County Community College offers an intercollegiate athletic program to enhance the college experience for students. Women’s volleyball and men’s basketball programs are available to students. Each program is committed to providing a comprehensive and well-rounded athletic experience in support of the College’s educational initiatives.

Visit Storm Watchers page for Season PassesThe College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The teams compete in Division III, Region 10. Division III teams do not offer scholarship support to players. In accordance with DCCC’s open door admissions policy, students admitted to the College who plan to participate in intercollegiate athletics must meet all admissions criteria set forth in the College General Catalog/Student Handbook. Player eligibility includes standards established by DCCC and NJCAA. Student-athletes must be enrolled each semester as a full-time student with 12 or more semester hours and maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher to meet eligibility.

Home games are played on the Davidson Campus in the Brinkley Gym. Games are free for students with a student ID and $5 for all others. Children 5 and under can attend for free.

Senior Year 2013 - 2014 established a new single-season record. Led the MEC in rebounding at 15 per game and his total of 391. Boyce also scored 17.3 points per game as he recorded 22 double-doubles in his senior season.

Selected Player of the Week in the MEC week of 12/23/13
Junior Year (Began playing at UVA- Wise 2013 Spring Semester Selected Second-Tteam All-Conference. Boyce averaged 12.1 points and 13.9 rebounds a game en route to the honor. Boyce garnered two weekly player of the week awards in his first season as a Cavalier. Playing in only the second semester.

Sadeeq Bello led the Storm to the Final Four in the National Tournament during his sophomore season at DCCC.  He went onto play at the University of Northwestern Ohio University on a scholarship where he was an all-conference point guard.
