VidGrid allows you to record video from your computer. You can record yourself with a webcam; you can record what is on your screen as you narrate it, or both. If you choose to use video as a replacement for in-class lectures, consider making several shorter videos rather than one long video. The VidGrid Tutorials contains a collection of short how to videos to get you started.
Faculty can create written or visual demonstrations for instructional videos using our LightBoard located in our new Creation Studio (Gee N143). If you are interested in utilizing the LightBoard, please reach out to any Office of Learning Design staff member or simply fill out the Faculty Help Request Form. While following social distancing rules, we can get you set up to record in no time!
