Adventure in Ireland

The Institute of Study Abroad, Ireland, is based in beautiful Donegal. The campus is located in Bundoran, Ireland’s famous surf town. Learn about Irish history, literature and culture, see famous sites, and interact with and learn from the locals. Soak in the amazing beauty of the Emerald Isle. This is sure to be a trip you will not soon forget!

Adventure in Ireland is open to DCCC students, faculty, and staff as well as members of the community.

You will experience
Cultural immersion, history, music, Celtic art, castles, pub life, natural wonders, surfing.

Associated Course

All participants must take HUM 180 for credit or the concurrent continuing education course. The class will meet from 6-8 p.m. on the following Thursdays: January 11, January 25, February 8, February 22 and March 15. The cost of the continuing education class will be $69.

Program Fee


Fee includes:

  • Round-trip airfare
  • Hotel accommodations
  • Breakfast daily
  • Dinner daily
  • Full-time services of Institute of Study Abroad Ireland faculty
  • Visits to select attractions as per itinerary
  • Day trip to Northern Ireland including Derry, Dunluce Castle and the Giant’s Causeway.

*Participants who pay the $200 deposit after Sept. 29 will pay a $100 late fee.

Application Deadline

September 29, 2017

After completing the study abroad application, pay a non-refundable $200 deposit to the DCCC Business Office to reserve your spot.  A total of $800 must be paid by October 27.  Final payment due by January 26, 2018.

Scholarship Info
