Spend your spring break among sea turtle nesting grounds, sloths, howler monkeys, and giant iguanas in Tortuguero. Relax in volcanic hot springs and kayak on a pristine lake in Arenal. See the cloud forest of Monteverde by zipline and horseback. Tour a butterfly garden and coffee plantation. Go white water rafting through the jungle!

ASSOCIATED COURSE

Participants can earn curriculum credit for Environmental Biology (Bio 140), or they may register for the concurrent continuing education course.

PROGRAM FEE

$2,562 for travelers

Fee includes

  • $100 study abroad fee, paid to the business office at DCCC
  • Round trip airfare
  • All accommodations for 8 overnight stays
  • Breakfast daily
  • Lunch daily
  • Dinner daily
  • All entrance fees and activities
  • Tour director tips

*Note: On arrival day, only dinner is provided. On departure day, only breakfast is provided.
*Note: Tour cost does not include airline imposed baggage fees, or fees for any required passport or visa.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

October 16, 2019

After you complete your Particulars Form, you will be directed to pay a $100 non-refundable study abroad fee to the DCCC business office. After that initial fee, all payments will go directly to Explorica. You can set up a payment plan on Explorica’s website.

SCHOLARSHIP INFO
