What it's about
The Associate in General Education (AGE) curriculum is designed for individuals wishing to broaden their education, with emphasis on personal interest, growth and development. Many of the courses are equivalent to college transfer courses; however, the program is not principally designed for college transfer.
Courses you'll take
The two-year General Education program provides students opportunities to study English, literature, fine arts, philosophy, social science, science and mathematics.
Upon successful completion of the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science or Associate in General Education, the student should be able to:
1. Communicate effectively.
2. Think critically.
3. Demonstrate information literacy.
4. Demonstrate interdependence.
