Student activities are viewed as an important dimension of each student's experience while attending Davidson County Community College, and the College encourages student involvement in all aspects of student and campus life. Students gain enjoyment, friends on campus, leadership skills, and experiences that are valued by both employers and four-year universities. Clubs and organizations are designed to enhance the leadership, intellectual, cultural, and personal development of students. Members often establish lifelong friendships as a result of participating and working with others who share the same pastimes.

Student Services offers a variety of workshops designed to meet students' academic, wellness, and personal growth needs. Workshops are scheduled during day and evening hours and are advertised monthly in Campus Headlines and The Toilet Paper, two of DCCC's information publications.
