Paramedic (Online/Hybrid)

This course, the first of three semesters, is designed to educate students who have completed an EMT-Basic program to the paramedic level of care provision. Invasive skills and comprehensive assessments are taught to enable the student to provide advanced life support to the ill or injured patient. Students will meet on campus Friday’s from 2 p.m.-9 p.m., and on Saturday’s from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Dates are: 1/10, 2/27, 2/28, 3/27, 3/28, 4/11, 5/8, 5/9.

Special admissions procedures are required for this course:
1) proof of HS/GED completion
2) proof of EMT Basic certification
3) placement scores indicating college-level academic readiness in reading, writing and math skills or exemption based on documented college level English and math courses.
