The Medical Technology program focuses on arithmetical and technical concepts associated with specimen collection, laboratory testing and procedures, quality assurance, and reporting, recording, and interpreting findings involving tissues, blood, and body fluids. Upon graduation, you should be qualified to take exams given by the Board of Registry of Medical Technologists of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or the National Certifying Agency. The Medical Technology program will enable you to find employment opportunities in hospital laboratories, medical offices, industry, and research facilities.
