Welcome to the Davie Campus Library of Davidson County Community College! The Library is a vital educational resource center dedicated to providing high-quality, cost-effective services to our College community and support for the instructional and research needs of our students, faculty, and staff. Our collection consists of more than 20,000 full-text electronic and print books and over 1,000 full-text electronic and print magazine, journal, and newspaper subscriptions. The library has 20 state-of-the-art laptop computers for all your research needs.
The library staff encourages commitment to lifelong learning and self-reliance by teaching research strategies and the effective use of library resources. Our librarians can answer questions about a wide range of topics and will be happy to assist you in locating items that meet your information needs.

Hours
The library is open during normal operating hours of the Davie Campus.
Library Cards
Library cards are issued free of charge at the front desk of the Davie Community Building. In order to obtain a library card, you must fill out a library card application and present valid photo identification such as a driver's license. Cards are valid for two years and are nontransferable. A replacement fee of $2.00 is charged if a card is lost.
Library cards must be presented to check out library materials. The DCCC Library Card will also give students the privilege of checking out materials at the Davidson Campus of Davidson County Community College in Lexington as well as Guilford Technical Community College.
