Mission Statement/Description
Success in the workplace for every individual is the mission of the Human Resources Development (HRD) program. Through employability skills assessment and workshops, the program provides opportunities to help adults understand their strengths and personal assets and how to apply these to their current and future jobs. The goal of the HRD program is to motivate and create enthusiasm in adults, enabling them to become successful employees.

The Human Resources Development (Job Exploration and Career Development) program at DCCC provides classes in job readiness training, exploring career options, career planning, workplace computer skills, job search strategies, effective resumes, and interviewing skills.

Special Admission Requirements: Call 336.249.8186, ext. 6245 to preregister for courses. Courses are fee-waived (FREE) to those who are unemployed, have been notified of an impending lay off, or meet eligibility requirements.
