Mission Statement/Description
The Focused Industry Training (FIT) program is designed to provide customized training to manufacturing companies in Davidson and Davie counties that need to upgrade workers’ skills because of technological or process advances. FIT uses individualized needs assessments and consultations to design and implement targeted customized training to keep local industry viable and competitive in today’s global markets. The goal of the FIT program at DCCC is to be the most recognized and favored training partner for industry in Davidson and Davie counties.

Faculty
85% of all classes are conducted by outside training consultants who are specialists in their fields. Occasionally adjunct faculty members are utilized to meet the requests of industries in the college's service area.
