Sarah Elisabeth Yarbrough and Matthew Brent Trogdon were married Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006 , at Churchland Baptist Church .
The couple exchanged vows in a 2 p.m. ceremony before the Rev. Ray Howell IV.
Organist Michael Westmoreland presented a program of music.
The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Kelly Yarbrough of Linwood. She is the granddaughter of Foy and Zell Yarbrough of Lexington, Kenneth Greene of Linwood and the late Jean Greene. She is a 2005 graduate of West Davidson High School and a 2006 graduate of the cosmetology program at Davidson County Community College . She is employed at Just Your Style in Lexington.
The groom is the son of Steve and Karen Trogdon of Lexington. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Don Curry and Dorris Trogdon, all of Lexington, and the late Tom Trogdon. He is a graduate of West Davidson High School and Davidson County Community College . He is the co-owner of Fresh Coats Painting Contractor.
The bride's father escorted her.
The groom's father served as best man.
Chad Trogdon, the groom's brother, and Robbee Watson were ushers.
Valli Watson, the bride's sister, was matron of honor.
Tabitha Younce was maid of honor.
Melissa Trogdon, the groom's sister-in-law, registered guests.
Crystal Pope directed the wedding.
After a trip to Garden City, the couple are making their home in Linwood.
