Tiffany Lynn Russell of Thomasville, the daughter of Tony and Cathy Russell of Thomasville, became the bride of Dustin Douglas Cogar of Thomasville in a ceremony held on Saturday, December 9, 2006. Cogar is the son of Ernie and Diana Cogar of Lexington.
The ceremony was held at 2 p.m. on the shore of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The bride was escorted by her father, Tony Russell.
Olivia Peeler, cousin of the bride of Thomasville, was the flower girl.
Serving as ring bearer was Tyler Mashburn, cousin of the bride, of Thomasville.
Music was provided by Derrick Russell, brother of the bride, who played the trumpet.
After a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach and a summer Carribbean Cruise later, the couple will reside in Thomasville.
A reception was held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2006, at Thomasville Assembly of God, so that family and friends who were unable to attend the wedding could be a part of the celebration.
The bride graduated from East Davidson High School in 2004. She is a certified nursing assistant with Arcadia HomeCare. She is currently working toward an AA degree in nursing at Davidson County Community College and is a member of Thomasville Assembly of God.
The groom graduated from North Davidson Senior High School in 2003. He received an AA degree from Davidson County Community College in Criminal Justice in 2005. He is currently a certified correctional officer at Davidson Correctional Center and is a member of Thomasville Assembly of God. |
