Jessica Dawn Owen and Kevin Rance Jackson were married May 13, 2006, at the Lexington home of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Owen, the bride's parents.
The couple exchanged vows in a 5:30 p.m. ceremony before the Rev. Chris Barrow.
The bride is the daughter of Brad and Laura Owen and Patti and Craig Varner, all of Lexington. She is the granddaughter of Foy and Shirley Owen, Otis and Elinor Jones, Frank and Ursula Thacker and Peggy Varner, all of Lexington. She is a 1996 graduate of Lexington Senior High School, attended North Carolina State University and is a 2002 graduate of Davidson County Community College. She is employed with J. Smith Young YMCA.
The groom is the son of Jean Perryman and David Rich of Lexington and Kenneth and Susan Jackson of Clayton. He is the grandson of Juanita Jackson of Angier and Pat Wentworth of Clayton. He is a 1994 graduate of Central Davidson High School. He is employed with MBM.
The bride's father escorted her.
Kenneth Jackson Jr. served as best man.
Lonnie Michael Jr. and Brion Miller were ushers.
Stephanie Potts was matron of honor.
Rachael Owen and Blair Trexler, the bride's sisters, were bridesmaids.
Emma Jackson was flower girl.
Katie Lester registered guests.
Laura Owen directed the wedding.
After a trip to Cherry Grove, S.C., the couple will make their home in Lexington.
Reception
The bride's father and stepmother hosted a reception following the ceremony at their home.
Terry and Jenny Johnson and Mike and Judy O'Dowd assisted in serving.
Kim Jackson, James Johnson, Royal Murrel and Dylon Lester greeted guests.
Rehearsal Dinner
Jean Perryman, David Rich and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jackson hosted a dinner at Yarborough's Restaurant on May 12.
