Tiffany Suzanne Freeman and Wesley Lee Alexander were married Saturday, April 8, at the Edward C. Smith Civic Center.
The couple exchanged vows in a 4:30 p.m. ceremony before the Rev. Jerry Moore.
Chuck's DJ and Karaoke Show presented a program of music.
The bride is the daughter of Wanda and Harold Jones of Lexington and John and Paulette Freeman of Reeds. She is the granddaughter of Doris Duffey of Lexington and the late Bill Duffey, Mr. and Mrs. Harold and Maggie Jones of Siler City and the late Mrs. Mary Edith Freeman. She is a 1989 graduate of Lexington Senior High School and studied business administration at Davidson County Community College. She is employed with Homestead Hills Retirement Community.
The groom is the son of Estella Vandyke of Winston-Salem and Wesley Woodson of South Hill, Va. He is the grandson of the late Emmett Richard Alexander and the late Lily Rose Alexander. He is a 1994 graduate of Independence High School of Winston-Salem. He is employed by Homestead Hills Retirement Community.
The bride's father escorted her.
Robert Cobbler of Winston-Salem served as best man.
Robert Duffey of Lexington, the bride's cousin, and Harold Jones, the bride's stepfather, both of Lexington, were ushers.
Heather Galloway of Lexington, the bride's cousin, was matron of honor. Allison Duffey of Lexington was maid of honor. Mary Johnson of Charlotte, the groom's sister, was bridesmaid.
Abbey Galloway of Lexington, the bride's cousin, was flower girl.
Caleb Galloway of Lexington, the bride's cousin, was ringbearer.
Betsy Beauchamp of Welcome, the bride's aunt, registered guests.
Chloe Galloway, the bride's cousin, distributed brass wedding bells.
Betty Moore directed the wedding.
After a trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple will make their home in Lexington.
Reception The bride's mother and stepfather hosted a reception following the ceremony at the civic center.
Gina Teague; Sherry Akers, the bride's stepsister; Margaret Buckner and Elizabeth Kluska, the bride's great-aunts; and Donna Sink assisted in serving.
Charles and Jilda Duffey, the bride's aunt and uncle, greeted guests.
Rehearsal Dinner The bride's father and stepmother hosted a dinner at South Lexington Volunteer Fire Department on April 7.
Wedding Breakfast Charles and Jilda Duffey hosted a breakfast at Golden Corral on April 8. |
