 Brandy Patrice Bayliff and Scott Alan Michael were married Saturday, June 11, at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Lexington.
The couple exchanged vows in a 2 p.m. ceremony before the Rev. Matt Farabow.
Organist Peggy Barnhardt and vocalists Jenni Gooding, Kristin Bayliff and Kristen Fuller presented a program of music.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Pattie Bayliff of Lexington and granddaughter ofRuby Bayliff of Lexington, the late Reid Bayliff and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lee Sharpe. She is a 1999 graduate of West Davidson High School, a 2001 graduate of Davidson County Community College and a 2004 cum laude graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is employed by Churchland Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher.
The groom is the son of Alan and Judy Michael of Lexington and grandson of Judy Michael of Lexington, the late Robert Michael and the late Buren Workman. He is a 1997 graduate of Central Davidson High School. He is employed by Leggett and Platt as an office supervisor and systems administrator.
The bride's father escorted her.
Johnny Rachels of Lexington served as best man.
Clint Aley and Michael Leonard, both of Lexington, and Barry Gladhill of Clemmons were ushers.
Kristin Bayliff of Lexington, the bride's sister, was maid of honor.
Heather Leonard, Miranda Ricker and Jennifer Jacobs, all of Lexington, were bridesmaids.
Meredith Hadley and Melissa Hadley, both of Graham and the bride's cousins, were junior bridesmaids.
Perri Bell of Lexington, the groom's cousin, was flower girl. Nolan Hadley of Graham, the bride's cousin, was ringbearer.
Megan Everhart of Lexington registered guests. Lindsay Everhart of Lexington distributed programs, and Donna Myers of Lexington directed the wedding.
After a cruise to Key West, Fla., and Nassau, Bahamas, the couple will make their home in Lexington.
Reception
The bride's parents hosted a reception in the fellowship hall after the wedding.
Betty Tyler and Bonnie Prevette, the bride's aunts, Pam Hadley, Sherry Boutwell and Rhonda Williams, the bride's cousins, assisted in serving.
Rehearsal dinner
The groom's parents hosted a dinner at Yarborough's Restaurant on Friday, June 10.
Bridesmaids' luncheon
Kristin Bayliff, the bride's sister, hosted a luncheon at Miss Ruby's Tea Room Saturday, June 4.
