Class of 1974
Public Information Assistant, Davidson County Community College
Kathy is a graduate of the Associate in Applied Science in Journalism Degree. During the 1973-1974 academic year, she served as Student Government Association President and was also a report/managing editor of the student newspaper, The Commuter. From 1973 to 1988, Kathy worked as an assignment editor/staff writer for The Thomasville Times.
Kathy has served as the alumni association Vice President since June 2005.

Jonna Threadgill, Class of 1986
Human Resources Technician, Davidson County
Jonna is a graduate of the Executive Secretarial program at DCCC and believes that her service as Secretary at her church in different capacities qualifies Jonna to serve as Secretary of the DCCC Alumni Association.
She feels she is able to carry out the duties of this position and serve the association as well as represent the College in an effective manner. Jonna is interested in the position because it will give her an opportunity to use her knowledge and skills that she acquired at DCCC as well as in her work career.
Jonna served one year as the alumni association Secretary.

Accounts Payable, Davidson County Community College
Valerie graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Accounting in 1999. She also received her Certificate in Information Systems Technology in 2003. She has worked at the College for nearly seven years in Accounts Payable.
Valerie has been active in the Alumni Association since it was revitalized in 2004. She is looking forward to the opportunity of serving on the Executive Committee and is sure both her academic and professional community college experience will be a great asset.

Claudette White, Class of 1990
Human Resources Technician, Davidson County
Claudette is a 1990
graduate of DCCC with an Associate Degree in Business Administration and is very proud of the progress that has taken place. She would like to see continued progress in the areas of educators, academics, enrollment, and sports.
Claudette and her husband met at DCCC and later graduated. Now her son attends classes at the College. They know from experience that DCCC is a great place to start an educational journey. She has a genuine, personal interest in DCCC.

Self-Employed, Kiddie Kasa In-House Childcare
Kennie graduated in 2002 with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been very active in the Alumni Association and hopes to continue that through her term.

Ronda Corriher, Class of 2000
Registration & Records,
Davidson County Community College
Ronda graduated from DCCC in May 2000 with an Associate Degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management. She works at the College in the Registration & Records Department.
Ronda is interested in the Member At-Large position because she would like to see the association membership at meetings grow and the association as a whole become an active part of DCCC.
