The Davidson County Community College Alumni Association was reorganized in 2004 under the auspices of the Foundation. This revitalization effort was part of the College’s 40th Anniversary Celebration. The Association reaches out to the approximately half a million people who have been students at the College since its doors opened in 1963. Goals of the Alumni Association are to provide former students with continuing education options, networking opportunities, and maintaining lifelong connections, as well as serve to support growth of the College. Included in these efforts is the establishment of the DCCC Alumni Association Scholarship fund.
The Foundation and Alumni Association share a vision to build support for the College in the community and enhance the College’s ability to provide high quality programs and services that will continue to enable past, present, and future students to achieve educational and career goals.
