Outside Scholarship LinksCommunity College President's Scholarship
Up to four students may be selected to receive the scholarship, in amount ranging from $500-$2,000 per student not exceed a total of $2,000 per community college. The student(s) must meet the criteria listed below and be selected as a recipient of the scholarship by the President of your community college, who will need to sign the nomination form. The selections of Community College Presidents' Scholars should be made by May 15, 2012.
Eligibility Criteria:
1.) Minimum of 30 semester hours of study completed at the community college, preference to Associate degree recipients.
2.) Minimum cumulative community college GPA of 3.0 for students transferring with an Associate degree. Minimum cumulative community college GPA of 3.5 for students transferring prior to completing their Associate degree.
3.) Minimum UNCG admissions requirements for transfer students. Interested students can pick up forms in the Advisement Center in Mendenhall 112!
In order to get students nominated in timely manner please return nomination and fee waiver forms to the Financial Aid Office by May 9. 2012. Fee waiver forms will be available for pick up after completion. You will be notified via your DCCC email account.
B. Davis Scholarship
To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words on the topic below:
