What does pre-major mean?
“Pre-major” refers to a specific plan of study designed for community college students that will prepare you for a chosen major at the transfer institution. You receive the associate degree at DCCC and then complete the program of study at the transfer institution. These agreements are meant as a guide, and it is the student’s responsibility to become aware of individual requirements of the transfer institution.
What are study-tracks?
Faculty at DCCC developed plans of study that will prepare you for admission to a variety of university programs. These plans were developed by looking at the university course requirements, then selecting comparable courses from our catalog of courses at DCCC.
