Davidson County Community College offers more than 50 instructional programs that prepare students to accomplish one or more of the following:
- prepare for employment opportunities
- transfer to senior colleges and universities
- achieve personal and professional goals
Some programs are offered during the evening as well as during the day. Academic advisors are available to assist students who need information and guidance in planning acceptable programs to meet their educational goals.
Full-time students can generally complete associate degree programs in two years. The associate degree is designed to provide general education courses for transfer to senior colleges and universities.
Diploma programs can generally be completed in three semesters on a full-time basis. Certificate programs may be completed in one or two semesters on a full-time or part-time basis. Both are designed to prepare students for employment, and courses earned often count toward a higher credential. |
