Health Evaluation for Accepted Allied Health and Nursing Students
Allied Health and Nursing students may access a copy of the Student Immunization Checklist. Note: Proof of immunizations is required for students accepted into their major. Note: Acceptance to the College does not equate to acceptance into a major.
The cost to obtain the physical examination (for Nursing) and required vaccinations (all programs) is the responsibility of the student and should be completed in a timely manner.
Students should not wait to begin gathering immunization information.
Criminal Background Check & Drug Screening for Accepted Allied Health and Nursing Students
Clinical sites require a criminal background check and drug screening prior to participation in clinical site visits. Background checks are conducted through Investigative Associates Consultants (IAC) and include nation-wide criminal record and sexual predator checks. A 12-panel urine drug screen must be obtained from a approved lab. Additional details will be available in the spring semester. The Criminal Background Check and 12 Panel Urine Drug Screen should not be completed until after acceptance into the program.
