English as a Second Language (ESL) teaches English to adults whose native language is not English.
Instruction includes:
- conversation
- pronunciation
- vocabulary
- basic reading and writing
- spelling
- English grammar
Rosetta Stone, Mango Languages, and other computer programs are available to help students reach their language learning goals. Citizenship preparation class is available in Davidson County.
Special Admission Requirements
The student does not speak English as a first language and completes an assessment on the CASAS Life Skills assessment system.
