Mission Statement/Description
GED Distance Learning courses offer students the opportunity to earn their GED in a non-traditional classroom environment.

Current Course Offerings
GED Online Courses: This course uses the Internet to deliver GED course material. Students must have a home computer with Internet access and a working e-mail address.

Test Your Online Abilities: Online Self Evaluation Quiz (These results will not be documented. It is for your information only.)

GED Video Connections:This course is comprised of a series of DVDs or videos and workbooks which are checked out from the DCCC Learning Resource Center. Students watch the videos/DVDs and send in homework.

Process for Admissions to GED Distance Learning Courses
Students must attend a three hour orientation session before they can start one of the courses. To register for the orientation class, please refer to the orientation schedule link above and choose the class of choice. Please bring a pencil, pen, and your e-mail address (e-mail is only required for the Online orientation). You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in one of these courses. If you are under 18 years of age, please call 336.242.2217 (Davidson) or 336.224.4843 (Davie) for more information about our youth program.
