The Adult High School Program (AHS) is designed to allow students the opportunity to complete a high school credential that mirrors a public school credential. The program is a SACs accredited and is the same as any public High School program.
The program requires:
- 24 credits, including 14 core courses, which include:
- four English classes
- three math
- three sciences
- three social sciences
- one health
- three computer electives
- seven additional electives
- Students must pass the College Placement Test showing no preparatory needs in order to graduate.
Special Admission Requirements: Assessment on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), students should score 9.0 or higher in the subject areas of reading, math, and language. An orientation is required. Please bring a sealed official copy of your high school transcripts to the orientation. |
