BET - Updated facilities

The School of Business, Engineering, and Technical Studies has updated multiple teaching and learning facilities on both campuses. The following new, renovated, and updated facilities are scheduled to open Fall 2011 on the Davidson campus.

• Manufacturing Technology Lab with 8 HAAS CNC machines, 10 CNC simulators, and rapid prototyping
• Welding Lab with 15 new welding booths and welders
• Hydraulics and Pneumatics Lab with 2 new hydraulics trainers
• Computer Upgrade and Repair Lab with 20 new computers and laptops
• Drafting and Design Lab
• Graphics Design Lab with 25 new 27 inch iMacs
• Engineering Design Lab with rapid prototyping
• Industrial Systems Lab
• Commercial and Alternative Energies Lab

The following renovated and updated facilities are scheduled to open Fall 2011 on the Davie campus.

• Advanced Manufacturing Lab featuring both HAAS CNC machines and CNC simulators
