Will I be ASE Certified when the class is over?
To be ASE certified you must first meet the two-year experience criteria and then take the ASE exam.

How much money can I make in this business?

The jobs are numerous, and the starting salary varies with location. In Davidson County, a starting technician can make between 10 to 15 dollars an hour. An experienced technician can make $35,000 to $50,000 a year.

Are the automotive courses mostly hands-on?
Yes. We spend anywhere from 50-70% of our class time in the shop, doing hands-on assignments.
