Frequently Asked Questions

Will the courses I take transfer?

Your advisor will assist you in determining which courses will transfer. To assure ease of transferability, plan on earning the Associate’s in Arts, Associate’s in Science, the Associate’s in General Education of the Associate’s in Fine Arts degrees.  The Comprehensive Articulation Agreement assures transfer of course credits for any student holding on of these degrees.

How do I go about transferring my courses?

Check with the school to which you would like to transfer about the admission policy and procedure. When you apply to the university of choice, you will be asked to send a transcript for evaluation, as well as a list of courses in which you are presently enrolled.  When you submit the application, go to the Business Office and ask that an official transcript be sent to the university as soon as possible.  If you are currently enrolled, you will also have to send another transcript when you have completed the course work for that semester.
