How to Search PDF (Acrobat) Documents Step 1: Be certain the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed on your computer. Most standard PCs already have this feature installed by the manufacturer. Step 2: Click the Step 3: Type desired word or phrase into the search feature; click Find. The search progresses from the current insertion point in the document (wherever you clicked last). Select Find Backwards to search from the insertion point toward the beginning of the document. Newer PDF versions have a search feature located at the right upper corner of the document as well. Type the word or phase into the search area and hit “enter” on the keyboard. |
