Davidson County Community College broke ground Monday, October 6, at 11 a.m. for its new Transportation Technology Center, the first college building financed totally with grant funds.

The facility will provide much-needed space for transportation program expansion, including a new Heavy Equipment and Transport Technology program. The building’s design will allow for multiple uses, especially those to help meet the needs of regional transportation employers.
