Faculty, staff, students and community patrons will begin gathering around 4:30 p.m. for the festivities that will culminate with the lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. DCCC President Mary Rittling will lead the countdown as the lights adorning the campus are illuminated for the first time this season. Trees around the campus perimeter will glow with white lights throughout the holiday season, along with a live Norway Spruce tree that was planted in 2009 on the lawn between the Mendenhall Building and Child Development Center.
The DCCC Chorus will entertain guests with a number of holiday songs. Refreshments of hot cider and cookies will be served.
