Speakers shared stories of more than 30 countries around the world through table exhibits, artifacts, costumes, food and entertainment, attracting Nearly 1,000 spectators throughout the day in DCCC’s Brinkley Gym.
“We’re excited to have the opportunity for our international students to share the diversity of their culture and all the students experience the diverse cultures,” said Sylvia Walters, communications faculty member with international education and coordinator of the exhibits. “This is always a highlight event at the college.”
DCCC student Hannah Williams said the event allows students and others to sample other cutlures right in their backyard. She also said it have her insight to anyone who may want to visit another country, she said.
