Whether the objective is to complete a project at work or remodel a kitchen at home, managing time, supplies, money, people and much more is needed to get the job done. Project management secrets used by successful, recession-resistant businesses will be shared at a seminar on April 2 at Davidson County Community College.
Project Management Bootcamp will be held from 1-5 p.m. in the DCCC Conference Center on the Davidson Campus. The seminar is offered free of charge to participants by the college’s Small Business Center.
Presenters will include Project Management author Jon Quigley and his colleagues. They willl share their wisdom and experiences from around the world and the boardrooms of Fortune 500 companies. The program should be of interest to non-profit organizations, small businesses, students, and individuals.
“Many small businesses and individuals in our community seek the success that effective project management and total quality management provides, but just don’t have the tools to begin implementation or even know where to start” explains Jonathan Thill, program director in the School of Community Education, Workforce Development and Entrepreneurship at DCCC. “We would like for these business representatives and individuals to join us for an interactive learning experience that will immerse them into the world of project management for a few hours and provide the starting point they need.”
Those interested in attending the Project Management Bootcamp should contact Thill at 336-224-4539 or jmthill@davidsonccc.edu.
