CDL Preparatory Class to Prepare Participants for State Exam

A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preparatory course will be offered March 7-9 on the Davie Campus of Davidson County Community College. The course is designed for students wanting to pass the written state exam given by the Department of Motor Vehicles to obtain a Class A CDL permit.

Topics include general operating procedures for a tractor trailer, combination vehicles, air brakes and transporting hazardous materials. This is not a refresher course; participants will not be driving a truck.

Classes will meet each day, Monday through Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Davie Campus, with an hour for lunch. The registration fee is $65.
