The Heart Center of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and Davidson County Community College will partner to offer a free 12-lead EKG screening on Thursday, March 3, at the Davie Education Center in Advance.
Individuals who may have noticed a skip in their heartbeat or have a family history of heart disease should consider making an appointment for this heart rhythm check. Screenings will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments are required and may be scheduled by calling 336.713-BEST (2378).
Ninety individuals took advantage of a 12-lead EKG clinic held at the center in February 2010, resulting in recommendations for a number of participants to seek immediate medical care or follow-up with their primary care physicians.
The Davie Education Center is located at 120 Kinderton Blvd. in Advance.
