"New Expressions," the spring art exhibit at Davidson County Community College, will open Tuesday. The opening reception is set for 4-6 p.m. in the B.E. Mendenhall Jr. Building on the Davidson campus.

Eight artists will present a variety of artwork in diverse media areas such as photography, clay, bookmaking and paintings in oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolors.

"New Expressions" will be on display until mid-May and is open to the public during regular college operating hours.
